Class - Rambling Rose / Half Square Triangles (2/3) by Silk and Salvage
Silk and Salvage Bay Quilts Workshop Sunday, May 17th (1:30 to 4:30pm)
'Rambling Rose' workshop 2 of 3. Take any one or all three classes. Half Square Triangles in Silk
Don't be scared off by silk's slippery, stretchy properties!
Join Sue Fox and Julia McLeod as we explore several methods to create half square triangles from all weights of silk. This classic motif is relatively simple to build and lends itself to a variety of blocks, strips and design compositions. Half square triangles form the border around our class sample shown here.
This class is the second in a series of three. You can take just one class to learn a particular technique, or you can join us for all three to complete a quilt like our 'Rambling Rose' pictured here.
