What: Help solve the Murder while making a Mystery quilt
Where: Bay Quilts, 5327 Jacuzzi St., Richmond, CA
When: Saturday, February 15th 11am-4pm Sunday, February 16th Noon to 4 pm
Who did it: Was it Sunbonnet Sue or Handy Andy?
What weapon was used: A rotary cutter or bolt of fabric?
Where did it happen: Was it at Crossed Canoes or Lost Ships? Solve the Murder and you win!! Everyone wins with a great quilt.
What to bring to class: 60 Light strips cut selvage to selvage 1 1/4” wide 60 Dark strips cut selvage to selvage 1 1/4” wide **Background fabric will be needed for Sunday but it will be discussed in class on Saturday. A sewing machine in good working order with a new needle, power cord, foot, etc. A 1/4” foot or seam guide is very handy to have but not mandatory. Neutral colored thread, thread snips, pins, and a seam ripper. Rotary cutter, mat, and a cutting ruler (I like the one that is 4 1/2” wide for this project). Design wall, tape or labels with pen to label pieces. Don’t forget your spirit of adventure!
