Class - Mermaid Doll by Sondra Von Burg
Mermaid Doll Class with Sondra Von Burg May 30th (12pm-5pm)
In this class, Sondra will get you started on your doll project by getting the hardest parts done: face and hands. Sondra will guide you through the steps for a needle sculpted nose, eye and lip placement, and “make-up.” She will demonstrate the tools and tricks that take the mystery out of turning tiny 5-fingered hands. Students will get the complete pattern to finish on their own, and Sondra will have her hand dyed “wigs” available for purchase.
It is important to bring the Sewing machine that you will be working on your doll with at home. An open toed foot is advisable. 1⁄4 yd. cotton fabric for skin.
